The Horse Helpers and Consultants Trail Clinic is set to go!

Come work with Corrales Horse Trainer Mike Sikorski and America’s Favorite Trail Horse Finalist, Kathryn Sikorski

 October 15, 2011 at the Corrales Top Form Arena

 The clinic will focus on teaching you and your horse to ride with quiet confidence anywhere.  The clinic will help you prepare for ACTHA Competitive Trail rides or just pleasurable rides in the Bosque or Backcountry.  We will begin by learning how to move all of the parts of your horse. Then you will practice how to approach and manage trail obstacles:

Crossing a tarp
Walking over a bridge
Opening and closing a gate
Desensitizing to ropes
Dragging a log
Side passing over a log
Backing through an L
Roping a dummy
Walking or jumping over logs
Back a figure 8 and a circle
 

No matter what your discipline (English or Western); you will have a terrific time at the clinic.  

We will start promptly at 10AM and run to approximately 2 PM.

 The clinic is open to a limited number of riders (12) for lots of individual instruction.  Sign up early to reserve your spot.  

Auditors are welcome for a $10 fee.
