Ditch Pony Promenade
Horses and kids can start preparing for the 2012 Ditch Pony Promenade sponsored by Dan’s Boots and Saddles and the Village of Corrales. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Sunday, May 20, at Top Form Arena. It’s free and open to participants 18 years old and younger.
More than 150 people participated in the 2011 Ditch Pony Promenade, which was held last May 15 (see photos).

The event features up to 33 classes of horses and riders or drivers, many of the classes intended specifically for younger horse enthusiasts. For more information, including the release form, go to www.dansboots.com or call 505-345-2220.
CHAMP and other community groups provide support each year and CHAMP has financed the public address system and the magnetic arena clearing equipment used during the promenade.. CHAMP board member Melanie Scholer started the event in 1993 and continues to organize it.
